Today we celebrate the 4th anniversary of the authorization to the Marian Devotional Movement to once again begin enrolling souls in the Rosary Confraternity established at the Cape in 1694. History is repeating itself as many of us make the same vow Fr. Luc made in 1867 devoting ourselves to the spread of the message of the Confraternity. In his case, it led to the transformation of his parish, seemingly on life support, to being recognized at the first Plenary of Canadian Bishops in 1909 as Canada's National Marian Shrine. This time, by all accounts to date, Mary has a broader plan to engage many of her shrines around the world to renew the universal prayer of the Church and to unleash a torrent of grace leading to a multitude of conversions. It is no small coincidence but rather Divine Providence that the authorization was given on the Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Happy Anniversary! God is good! 💕
