Pope has joined his voice to those of Bishops across North and South America to urge people to get jabbed against Covid-19. Pope Francis praised the work of researchers and scientists in producing safe and effective Covid-19 vaccines.
“Thanks to God’s grace and to the work of many, we now have vaccines to protect us from Covid-19,” he said.
He added that vaccines “bring hope to end the pandemic, but only if they are available to all and if we collaborate with one another.”
Vaccination is an act of love
Pope Francis went on to say that getting a Covid jab that is “authorized by the respective authorities” is an “act of love.”
Helping other do the same, he said, is also an act of love. “Love for oneself, love for our families and friends, and love for all peoples. Love is also social and political.”
The Pope noted that social and political love is built up through “small, individual gestures capable of transforming and improving societies.”
“Getting vaccinated is a simple yet profound way to care for one another, especially the most vulnerable,” he said.
Pope Francis then prayed to God that “each one of us can make his or her own small gesture of love.”
“No matter how small, love is always grand,” he said. “Small gestures for a better future.”

We need to pray no matter what and I continue to pray for everyone as our lady and our Lord has asked. 🙏

I, too, respectfully disagree with your post. I will continue to pray for the vaccinated Christians, but especially Catholics, to come to know the truth because all of humanity, including the Pope, has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Don't forget that he is human too and is bound to make mistakes. Remember the two greatest commandments is to love God and love your neighbour as yourself. Many people, even those within the church and those who appear to be pious, claim to have been 'charitable' by getting vaccinated but yet discount the fact that fetuses died in the process. How is that okay? Did you know that harvesting fetal stem cell lines can not be done on an aborted (dead) fetus but rather on one that is still living? I don't think that's what Jesus meant when he said love your neighbour as yourself. In fact, didn't he say that what you do to the least of your brothers you do unto me? And aren't we supposed to lay down our lives for a friend? So for those who morally and ethically choose to risk their own lives because those poor innocent souls lost theirs, let Jesus be your judge and not the vaxxed!!! Jesus himself was persecuted by those in his own community but in the end he was victorious so continue to put on the full Armor of God and be faithful Ambassadors of Jesus, even to the cross like Mother Mary did.🙏✝️⚔🛡
In all charity, I too respectfully disagree. I continue to pray for Pope Francis and all those impacted by the vaccine mandates. https://www.gloriadei.io/article-21-10-26-bp-schneider-theres-a-basic-error-in-vatican-documents-on-material-cooperation-with-abortion-tainted-vaccines/
I also respectably disagree with the Pope
MORAL PRESSURE?
In that regard, the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has issued guidelines on some moral questions on these vaccines. While the main thrust of their statement was dealing with vaccines that utilized the cells of babies aborted for medical research and development, their guidelines generally apply that:
The vaccines must be proven to be clinically safe.
Vaccines must always be voluntary.
There must be an absence of other means to stop or prevent an epidemic for a vaccine to be considered morally compelling for the common good.
There is a “moral imperative for the pharmaceutical industry, governments and international organizations to ensure that vaccines” are “effective and safe from a medical point of view.”
I disagree totally with pope on this and hope to never lose patience to pray for him.
